let’s talk numbers
Budgeting for a wedding can be scary, but I'd be lying if I said that photo/video aren't that important, or that they shouldn’t be one of your main wedding investments. After all, they are what keep the memories alive 5, 10, 50+ years down the road. Your dress gets hung up in a closet, your cake gets eaten and the flowers only last a few days, but your wedding gallery will be viewed countless times for generations to come. They're the only thing (other than your memories) that allows you to relive your wedding day over and over, never forgetting how it truly felt!
That's why I believe it is so important to prioritize hiring a photographer that not only fits your style and understands your vision, but one you wholeheartedly trust to capture the unseen in-between moments, your family members reuniting and celebrating around you, all the little details you planned countless hours planning, and so much more.

FAQs
Are you the only photographer or do you have second shooters?
It depends! I am more than happy to do a wedding day on my own, and my starter packages don’t include a second. However I do have a network of second shooters that I can rely on to shoot in my style. Second shooters also allow me the space to be a bit more creative with composition while still making sure we don’t miss all the mini moments throughout the day.
What kind of add ons do you offer with your packages?
For photo, all my packages have the option to add a second shooter (if one isn’t already included), as well as film photography, super 8 film, rehearsal dinner coverage, editing queue priority, photo albums, as well as extra hours of coverage
How does travel work?
Though I am Boston based, I am in a unique position where I also have a home base LA. So, if your wedding is within a 3 hour drive of LA then travel costs will just include air fare from either BOS to LAX (aka you save on hotel and rental car!). You also get a discount because I am always looking for an excuse to fly back and see my family :)
For any other travel within the US, anything more than 5 hours from Boston will require a round trip air ticket, 2-3 nights at a hotel (depending on how long I will be shooting for), and a rental car for the same amount of time. When you inquire I price out everything and provide you with an estimate so that you have the costs up front! For international destinations the price is already included in the package.
Do you deliver raw images?
Unfortunately no, editing is such a big part of the process and raw images only tell half of the story. The other half of the magic is done in the editing room after the big day! I never outsource my editing nor have I ever delivered un-edited images. I promise to always include the best images from the day, and if you feel a photo is missing from your gallery just ask!
How many images do you include?
The number of images is heavily dependent on the timeline and planned activities throughout the day. With that said I don’t guarantee and minimum or maximum amount of photos—but it will likely be around 70-120 images per hour of coverage.
How does the payment schedule work?
In order for me to lock in your date, a retainer fee in the amount of 50% of the session fee is required along with a signed contract. Once I have that you can rest easy knowing that I won’t book any other clients on the date(s) you provided. After that, the remaining balance is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date.
What if we need to cancel or move our date?
If you've already officially booked us and you need to move or cancel your wedding, the retainer is non-refundable and a new retainer will have to be made in order to hold your new date depending on availability (if it is more than a 12 month calendar year away- reschedules in less than 12 months are subject to a reschedule fee but not a new retainer).
What is your typical turnaround time?
I always like to cull through all the photos within a day of the wedding itself as it helps to have a fresh mind of all the special moments that took place throughout the day. This plus the fact that I love the editing process helps me deliver photos faster than usual. For weddings my delivery timeline is between 4-6 weeks and for smaller events usually 2-4 weeks. And either way I promise to always get you sneak peeks within a week of your big day.
